Railpath, Cemetery & West Belt Line (10 KM) (7/20/2011)

Itinerary:

We'll start this trip outside Dundas West Subway Station. Meet inside the station entrance, by the ticket booth.

  1. East along Bloor to the West Toronto Railpath
  2. North along the West Toronto Railpath to the northern point.
  3. North of the Junction, we take a combination of side streets North to Davenport.
  4. Cross Davenport to Earlscourt Park.
  5. North through the park to St. Clair.
  6. Cross St. Clair and travel north through Prospect Cemetery to Eglinton Ave.
  7. West on Eglinton to the West end of the belt line.
  8. East along the belt line/Roselawn Rd to Allen Rd.
  9. South along Allen Rd walkway to Eglinton West Subway Station.

Total distance is about 10 km.

We'll be going at a slowish pace of 3.5-4.0 KM/H.

If you cannot handle the slow pace of this event or would like to walk long-distances ahead of the group, please do not sign up for the hike, this is not for you.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Meet outside the Entrance to Dundas West Subway station on the Bloor Line, 6 stations west of St. George Station & 8 east of Kipling Station.

If driving, the station entrance is located on the North-West side of Bloor/Dundas.
