That's the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything!!!

And it's also = (Current TOC Event Coordinator count) + 1 !

Spööky, isn't it?

All spookiness aside, the TOC is still looking for more volunteers! 2011 is promising to be a banner year for the TOC! Month by month, we have already smashed all previous years' event counts, and yet there are still people on our waiting lists! (Then again, is that so surprising when we have only 41 event coordinators serving a city populated with 2.5 million people?)

So… have you been curious lately about what it would take to become part of the TOC volunteer team? Then come on out to our Volunteer Information Session. We'll be having a casual chat over dinner/drinks to discuss what it means to be a TOC Volunteer:

  • What do we ask of you,
  • What are the benefits?
  • What kinds of events are OK or not OK?

We'll also have time to answer all of your questions, and we'll discuss why you'd like to become a volunteer and what types of events you're interested in coordinating.
And just maybe YOU will be the one to make the TOC volunteer Event Coordinator count equal to Life, The Universe, and Everything!!

Please note the following:

  • To attend this event, you must have at minimum already attended 5 TOC "outdoors" events
  • This is an information session only! (By attending, you're not committing yourself to becoming a TOC volunteer.)
  • To current TOC volunteers: priority will be given to non-volunteers wishing to attend this session. If you sign up and the session gets a wait-list, you will be swapped with the member and moved to the wait-list.
