POWER WALK: Rosedale/Moore/Belt Line/Forest Hill (2/17/2011)

Itinerary:

This is a hike for all the cheetahs and gazelles out there, or just those who like to walk fast.

Please, if you sign up for this hike, ensure that you can walk up to 5 km per hour. However, the overall pace will be set by our fastest hiker.

There's a couple hills on this trip, but nothing too extreme.

So we'll start this trip outside Rosedale Subway Station. Meet inside the station entrance, by the ticket booth.

  1. South along Yonge
  2. East along Rosedale Valley Road
  3. North along discovery path to Castle Frank Rd.
  4. North along Castle Frank Rd to Craigleigh Gardens.
  5. North pass the Brickworks and Moore Ravine
  6. West on Moore Ave.
  7. North on Mount Pleasant Rd.
  8. West on Belt Line to Bathurst
  9. South on Bathurst
  10. Cross bridge on Old Forest Hill Road
  11. Travel west to Allen Rd
  12. South along Allen Rd walkway to Eglinton West Subway Station.

Total Distance - 11 KM

If you can't keep the pace, there will be places to drop off, but as I said this will be a fast hike.
