Itinerary:

I've been told that Ultimate Frisbee is awesome to play in the snow. So we are going to try out a game.

If you've thrown a Frisbee before, that's helpful, but not required. This is open to individuals of all skill levels. I'll be happy to outline the rules for new players.

Running is a key element to this game, so come with a competitive spirit. Ultimate is a fast paced game -- that's part of the fun! The running aspect is also a great way to stay warm.

I'll bring my disc, but if you've one of your own, bring it along. Especially during warm up, it's nice to have a few up in the air.

My white Frisbee will be more florescent and visible for play.

(See the bit below about the 'meet up' area.)

If there is more than a 50% chance of rain the day before, I will cancel this event in the evening and let everyone know via email.

On days when the weather is tentative always check your email before heading out: if there is no cancellation notice the game is on

Following the game, as tradition, we'll head for a pint up on Danforth Ave at one of the local pubs.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

DIRECTIONS

Get off the subway at Broadview Station on the Bloor/Danforth Subway line.

Once, you've exited the turnstiles, take a left (south) on broadview and it will take you in the direction of the park. The park is on the opposite side of the subway entrance and about a 5-10 minute walk south to RIVERDALE PARK.

NOTE: If you follow a road without streetcar tracks, you've gone the wrong way.

We will meet in the small field just beside the tennis courts.

I will keep my cellphone on until 11:30, just in case anyone is lost.
