Itinerary:

So, I've been receiving requests to have some more hikes outside the city.

This week, we will hit up Mono Cliffs Provincial Park. It's an easy hike for beginners.

I haven't done this hike since middle school and I think it's time for that to change.

This is a nice moderate hike that involves some hills, uneven terrain and probably some muddy areas. Please note that we will hike at a slowish pace so this will be great for those who want to take photos and get in better hiking condition!

If you want to walk a fast pace or leave the group, this is not the hike for you. Please don't sign up.

We'll start at the Eastern Entrance. and follow the map listed at this website

http://www.torontohiking.com/TMpdf/L13TM.pdf#zoom=100

Please bring a lunch and at least 1-2 Litres of water. We will stop for breaks to enjoy the countryside, but there will not be any drop offs.

Total Distance 16.4 km

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike.

We'll all meet at the park and ride area. When we decide whose vehicles will be taken, we'll drive over to the metropass lot (free on weekends) and leave any extra vehicles there.

For this hike, there will be no traveling to the event. Please meet at the carpool location. If you can't do this, please do not sign up for this hike.

After the hike, we'll see if anyone wants to go for dinner or a drink before heading back to the city.
