So I've been wanting to try this hike out for a long time. People have suggested there's no where to hike in North York.

Well this hike sets out to prove this statement wrong.

We will meet up outside North York Subway Station, beside the Starbucks, on the west side of Yonge St.

From there, we will head to the York Cemetery. A place filled with history, also featuring items like an army tank from WWI.

Then, we will head into the ravine that follows the Don river towards Earl Bales park.

As a local of the park, I've planned a route through the park. There will be a couple hills, so come prepared for some tough walking.

From Earl Bales, we'll take a couple unmarked trailed back to York Cemetery.

We will conclude our hike back at North York Centre subway station. Afterward, we'll hit up the Starbucks for a coffee.

WARNING: There will be 3-4 steep hills to climb on this hike.

Sorry, no dogs on this event because we will be going into the cemetery.
