bike - Old Mill loop, 50 km (9/19/2010)

Itinerary:
We will start at Old Mill subway, go north to Eglinton, west to Centennial Park, go south on The West Mall to Marie Curtis Park, east to Humber River. Back up to Old Mill subway. Most of this ride is on bike paths, there will be about 7 to 8 kms on some low traffic roads. Bring a lunch, we will stop to eat at one of the park along the way. This is free parking near the subway for those that are driving to the event.

Helmet, lunch, water, rain gears, spare tube.

Come outside the front entrance, and gather just to the right of the doors. * Car from 401: 1. Exit at Islington Ave. 2. Travel south to Bloor St. W. 3. Turn left (east) on Bloor St. W. 4. Continue along Bloor St. W. to Old Mill Trail (about the 7th traffic light). 5. Turn left on Old Mill Trail (at Old Mill subway station/formerly Humber Blvd.) * Car from QEW (eastbound): 1. Exit at Islington Ave. 2. Travel north to Bloor St. W. 3. Turn right (east) on Bloor St. W. 4. Follow Bloor St. to Old Mill Trail (at Old Mill subway station/formerly Humber Blvd.) 5. Turn left on Old Mill Trail. * Car from Gardiner (westbound): 1. Exit at South Kingsway and continue north to Bloor St. W. 2. Turn left (west) on Bloor St. W., and cross the Humber River Bridge. 3. Turn right on Old Mill Trail (at Old Mill subway station/formerly Humber Blvd.)
