In case anyone's wondering.

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.
I'll do a shorter, easier hike for those of you don't want to walk very far.

This 5 KM hike will both start and finish at Mimico Go Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths, grassy fields and a single track dirt trail.

In terms of hills, there aren't any over 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at Humber Bay Park, around the 2.5 KM mark.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS A SUBWAY CLOSURE BETWEEN VICTORIA PARK STATION AND KENNEDY STATION THIS WEEKEND.

For those unfamiliar with how I lead my hikes.

  • If you see me walking at a certain pace, you don’t have to walk at the same pace as me (I like to talk to different people on a hike, so I walk I different paces)
  • If you’d like to walk faster than me, that’s cool, if you like to walk slower than me, that’s cool too
  • We’ll meet up as a group when we take a major turn, cross a major intersection or if I think the group is getting too far separated.
  • We’ll do a water break, breather and sure everyone is aliver
  • I have two requests:
    1. If you choose to walk in front of me and you don’t know where you’re going, please stop and wait as I ain’t going to chase after y'all.
    2. Please no harassment, or else you won’t be welcomed back.
