Itinerary:

So, the random hike picker has selected this urban hike for today.
I'll do a shorter, easier hike for those of you don't want to walk very far.

This 5 KM hike will start at Runnymede Station and end at Keele Station.

The hike will be on a combination of sidewalks, paved park paths and one short dirt section at the end.

In terms of hills, there are no climbs more than 25 meters.

I'll attempt to stop for a washroom break at about 3.5 KM into the hike.

For those unfamiliar with how I lead my hikes.

  • If you see me walking at a certain pace, you don’t have to walk at the same pace as me (I like to talk to different people on a hike, so I walk I different paces)
  • If you’d like to walk faster than me, that’s cool, if you like to walk slower than me, that’s cool too
  • We’ll meet up as a group when we take a major turn, cross a major intersection or if I think the group is getting too far separated.
  • We’ll do a water break, breather and sure everyone is aliver
  • I have two requests:
    1. If you choose to walk in front of me and you don’t know where you’re going, please stop and wait as I an’t going to chase after you.
    2. Please no harassment, or else you won’t be welcomed back.
