Itinerary:
This is really a dinner followed by an urban stroll rather than a hike.

We will meet at “Swatow” Chinese restaurant at 309 Spadina Ave(East side of Spadina one block north of Dundas St West) at 6:00 pm for dinner.

Then at about 7:00 pm we will walk north to UofT for an informal tour led by myself. I know the campus well - I got my first UofT library card when I was in grade 5!

When you sign up you must be able to join us for both parts. Since I am making a reservation at the restaurant please do not drop out at the last minute. You can reach me on my cell at 416 830-6160.

Comfortable shoes, weather appropriate clothing

If it looks like rain, bring rain protection. If it is really hot, bring water.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:The easiest to get to the restaurant is by TTC, walking or biking. For the TTC, get to the corner of Spadina Ave and Dundas Ave West. Walk one block north to 309 Spadina and the restaurant.

If you plan to drive (not the best idea (because parking is expensive), you can try finding street parking, or look for a parking lot close by, like the Green P Parking lot called Kensington Garage, at 20 St. Andrew Street, (It has 450 spaces). To get to the restaurant from the Kensington lot, walk east on St Andrew to Spadina, cross Spadina at the lights, walk south about one block to Swatow at no. 309. The distance is less than 200 meters.
