It was a good day for a hike. After wading through some deep snow right at the beginning, we got onto the network of side trails that criss-cross Mono Cliffs. Our route took us through some significant elevation gain, which kept us quite warm. After a brief stop for lunch, we went down a series of steep switchbacks that made us all glad we had icers.

Two dogs were in attendance, Poo and Boo.

Did you know: Porcupines can climb trees? We learned this as we walked past one that scrambled away from us.
