Luckily fresh snow was awaiting us when we arrived at Horseshoe, making conditions better than expected. We had a good day of skiing, some of us covering longer trails than intended. We connected with Sharmaine, our meet at event participant. We also ran into 2 other club members that happened to be there and skied with them for part of the day. Matt even contributed to the donations. For many of us it was the first day out this year. David was the veteran of the group. Sharmaine and Linda intended to do Blue West with others but Linda missed the turn, so Sharmaine led onward to do Red North as their first run for the year. Thank goodness for that fresh snow on Achy Breaky. David led Kristen, Tatjana and Helena on the planned route. $5 donations collected Thanks to everybody for coming out.
