What started as a grey day when we left Toronto early morning, turned out to be a very sunny one by the time we started hiking. The original goal of covering approximately 18 km, weather permitting, was not accomplished, ironically due to the great weather. We came across so many great vistas every few minutes, that frequent stops to enjoy the scenery and taking pictures just seemed the right thing to do. At the end of the day, for some of us, the shorter distanced covered was compensated by hundreds of pictures taken; for the rest, by the memory of a very sunny and warm day in the great outdoors.
