It was a lovely day! Although the subway was close from Bloor-Yonge and Lawrence stations, our group still arrived at the Short-Hill Provincial Park shortly after 10am. We started hiking on Black Walnut trail at 10:30am, and we had a lunch at a lovely spot on Swayze Falls Trail. Along the way, we We arrived at Morningstar Mill around 2pm, and we had two wonderful tour guides introducing this small but fascinating rural industrial heritage site! From the window of the mill, we were able to see the beautiful DeCew waterfalls! After visiting the Mill and Miller's house, the group visited the bruce trail loop beside Lake Moodie. We all headed back home with smiles!
