It was a beautiful day – the sky was blue, the sun was shinning, the snow was fluffy, the trail condition was excellent. Dogs were having their fun with snow in their faces! I wouldn’t trade for a better weather condition in any winter day.

On this hike, we passed by some hikers, cross-country skiers and bikers. We were glad that we came out and there was a fire-pit waiting for us at the Falls. The scenery had changed since we were here two months ago - the waterfalls were frozen and the reservoir was covered in white.

My other favourite for today was our after hike conversations! There were many requests today made me rethink of keeping our hikes/events going this winter! We talked about many interesting activities including “bike outing”, skating, sushi… Our group really had many common interests!

Thank you all who came out on this hike and kudos to today’s tourist guide Dan! We also welcomed our first time hiker Alyse and Simba’s new friend Scrotcher on this hike! We will see all of you again sometime soon.
