Thank you to everyone for making the canoeing trip a wonderful experience.
We picked up our canoes at Paddle Shack on Hwy 11, just before Gravenhurst. Many thanks to the wonderful people at Paddle Shack for their help and support (they even helped us tie two canoes on one vehicle).
After parking at Big East Access point we meandered through small lakes, canals, and portages to our camp site at Poker Lake. We had fun setting up camp, swimming, cooking, eating, and feeding the mosquitos.
On Sunday we packed our stuff and went for a paddle to a couple small lakes north of Poker lake without most of our heavy gear. In the early afternoon we headed back to the camp, the outfitter and Toronto.
