What started off as a cloudy and windy day turned into a surprisingly pleasant sunny and windy day, perfect for a longish hike of 23km. We were able to break out the snowshoes for over half of the hike and we found certain places where no one had ventured that they were required. We completed the 23 map km, or around 25 km actual km with the ups and downs. Starting at just after 9am at the trailhead, we returned to the car just after 4pm, giving us an average snowshoe/hike pace of around 4 km/h.
