On the way to the Jazz Festival we spent some time at St John’s Norway Cemetery. Most of the headstones that we looked at, the “birth dates” were around 1880. There is so much history here. Some of the headstones are not well maintained and we had a thought to suggest this as community service for a school program. From here it was a short hike to Woodbine Park. We walked around the boardwalk and water fountain, watched people feed the cygnets (baby swan) before heading to the Music Grand Stand and the Food Extravaganza area. The live music was good and some people were up dancing. $9 was collected in donations.
