Seven brave backpackers set up their massive rain shelter at Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve.
The shelter consisted of two large car camping tents, 5 tarps, and a smaller tent for gear. There was even an internal wood burning stove and integrated common kitchen / dining area.
The real refuge though, was in the backpackers sense of humor that kept all our spirits high despite the elements. Thank you to everyone for coming out and having fun despite the rain.
