Hello Everyone!!
At 8:30 in the crisp morning air actually 6 deg. We got together to embark on a beautiful adventure. Drivers were assigned their passengers and passengers were given their seats. We then drove to our meeting location where all cars managed to get to the rondevu point at the trail head. By 940am when we started it had warmed up to 10 deg for us!
After a group shot we started our leaf covered journey through historic path along the Bruce Trail. We will remember the crunch of the leaves under foot, the smell of the air, multi coloured ground, the water running as we crossed numerous bridges. A thank you goes out to the Bruce Trail maintenance team for the bog walks ways!
For lunch it was a sunny day where we shared stories of past trips while devouring our lunches and soaking up the warm October sun. 16 deg high with the sun and the crisp air in the shade... Perfect! After lunch we took off blazing the trail as there were several flat stretches where the pace picked up!!
Sadly the hike came to end. Where everyone looked like they truly enjoyed the trail that was selected for both its challenges and beauty. A good time had by all!!!
I would like to thank the drivers for their vehicles! Passengers for being good passengers and to the weather for making it a memorable experience!
